What does it measure?
- Strategy: AI goals, prioritisation and ownership
- Data: accessibility, quality and data governance
- Technology: infrastructure to build and deploy models
- People: skills of executives, employees and technical teams
- Governance: usage policy, inventory and risk management
- Culture: adoption and room to experiment
How is it scored?
For each of 15 questions you pick the option that best describes your organisation today; options run from least to most mature (0–3 points). Each dimension's score is converted to a percentage; the overall score is a weighted average of the dimensions. The result is one of four levels: Starting, Exploring, Developing and Scaling. The assessment was developed by MLTeam, inspired by dimensions common to maturity models from Cisco, MITRE and Gartner.

Which models is it based on?
It's inspired by the strategy, data, technology, people, governance and culture dimensions common to the Cisco AI Readiness Index, the MITRE AI Maturity Model and Gartner's maturity model. The scoring is MLTeam's own and is intended as an initial assessment.
What should I do after getting my result?
Your lowest-scoring dimensions are your priority areas. The result screen gives recommendations for each, with links to the relevant services or programmes.
